Shimano Roshi, Abbot, Dai Bosatsu Zendo Kongo-ji (<a href=\"http:\/\/daibosatsu.org\/dbzindex.html\">daibosatsu.org\/dbzindex.html<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>He is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Past president of the Board of Trustees of the Zen Center of Syracuse (ZCS), head monk and master of ritual.<\/li>\n<li>Former Associate Buddhist Chaplain, Syracuse University.<\/li>\n<li>Former Member of Board of Trustees of the Inter-religious Council of Central New York (IRC), and Secretary to IRC&#8217;s Executive Committee.<\/li>\n<li>Former meditation chaplain at Tully Hill Treatment Center, Tully NY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2005, he was invited to be adjunct Buddhist chaplain for Pastoral Care at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland and meditation instructor at Sheppard Pratt&#8217;s Partners In Recovery, Towson, Maryland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terrance is a Rinzai Zen Buddhist priest.
